The latest version of VorpX was released today!  VorpX makes it possible to play existing games in VR by extrapolating stereoscopic 3D imagery and adding headtracking support for products like the Oculus Rift.  They have a huge changelog which is too long to mention here, but what stands out the most is they’ve expanded their positional tracking game support list.  They’ve also made it possible to add positional tracking to most if not all games in their advanced options.
To get an accurate measure of VR compatibility, we encourage gamers to share their results in MTBS’ VorpX forums.  We also recommend making GameGradeVR submissions.  Their game submissions should score even better now that positional tracking is more readily available.  In the case of GameGradeVR, only true stereoscopic 3D submissions (AKA geometry 3D in the VorpX lingo) are accepted because 2D+Depth doesn’t follow the same rule base and the anomaly types and challenges are very different.

Congrats, and Happy Holidays everyone!
