Awhile back, The University of Ontario Institute of Technology held an immersive technology game jam to expose its students to AR, VR, and gesture technologies in the immersive space. Students showcased everything from Kinect to Leap Motion to MindWave to Oculus.
We missed one project in our coverage – an excellent contribution called “Bird Dock Mysteries” by Gary Ng and his team which included Miranda Legros, Aaron Providence, Albert Bushara and Branan Sarveswaren. An added bonus is Gary is the President of UOIT’s Game Development Society, so he had some insights there as well. Lots of fun!
