Great news for castAR backers!  Technical Illusions have added castAR support to the upcoming open source Vireio Perception 2.0 drivers!  For those unfamiliar, Vireio Perception is a free software package that lets you take existing games and play them in VR with head tracking and stereoscopic 3D functionality.  The first public build of 2.0 will be out on November 28th, and we have every confidence that fellow VR gamers are going to love them.  castAR has added both visual and head tracking support to Vireio Perception.

castAR is a hot up and coming product that includes both augented and virtual reality properties.  Currently going through a successful Kickstarter, they found an inexpensive way to create exciting immersive experiences that are both effective and portable.  In our opinion, castAR represents a new class of immersive gaming experiences similar to the way the Oculus Rift is reinvigorating the interest in VR gaming.  The Technical Illusions team have a great story to tell, and it's history in the making.  Help back their effort so we can all enjoy new types of immersive experiences inside and outside the home!
