Long overdue, Dynamic Digital Depth has released TriDef 3D 5.8 featuring new game profiles for BioShock Infinite, Crysis 3, Tomb Raider 2013, Planets Under Attack, World of Warplanes, Scania Truck Driving Simulator, Euro Truck Simulator 2, Race Injection, LEGO Lord of the Rings and more. The driver release also promises improved support for Assassin’s Creed III, Batman: Arkham City, StarCraft 2, Google Earth and League of Legends.
In all cases, be sure to submit your results to GameGrade3D!

Meanwhile in MTBS Labs, the Vireio Perception drivers continue to make the rounds in the press; most recently in Tom’s Hardware. These are free open source drivers designed for the Oculus Rift and VR devices.
We are looking at building a dedicated group of people in our forum who have the time and programming skill to help make this software better. It’s a great proof of concept, and we know we can do more! Even if the drivers aren’t as polished as say the DDD TriDef or Nvidia 3D Vision drivers, this has been a lot of fun because we are learning more and more about the unique needs of VR in the process. It’s a little bit of history.
If you want to join this group, send Neil a PM in our forums to make arrangements. Please let us know what your programming skills are like and what portions of the driver’s functionality interests you the most. MTBS is a connected bunch, and we will likely be able to help out with some game testing resources.
In the meantime, the first release candidate for Vireio Perception 1.05 is available in our forums.
