Are there fellow Toronto Canucks out there? Be sure to drop by The Level Up Gaming Showcase this coming Wednesday!
Each year, Ontario’s leading universities and colleges with game development programs get together to showcase their students work. It’s an opportunity for pupils to show their stuff, it’s an opportunity for industry to get an early look at the talent coming down the pipe, and in this case, it’s a chance to see some new technologies for the first time.
Just some of the leading sponsors include AMD, NBC Universal, Microsoft, Epson, Nanoveu, Pizza Pizza, and more!
Alongside the University of Ontario Institute of Technology, Meant to be Seen will be hosting a special immersive technology table complete with prototypes of products that haven’t been released yet. What are those products, you ask? Come down and find out! Students and game developers will get a glimpse of the not-too-distance future so they can start coming up with ideas for technologies to come.
Other schools being represented include Brock University, Centennial College, George Brown College, Humber College, OCAD University, Seneca College, Sheridan College, Trios College, University of Toronto, and York University.
Entry is free, and it will be taking place at the Design Exchange in Toronto from 5:00PM to 11:00PM EST. We hope to see you there!!!
BONUS: There will be contests and prizes including games, EyeFly 3D screens for mobile devices (seriously), and more!
