This week, MTBS got the chance to speak about VR and its future at the 18th ACM Symposium on Virtual Reality Software and Technology (VRST). In addition to giving a breakdown of where consumer VR is today, we talked about 3D and the core lessons learned that could help push VR along.
Even amongst true VR experts, a good stereoscopic 3D game manages to garner some undivided attention. In this case, everyone was trying out Portal 2 in sterescopic 3D.
For several years, the MTBS team has been covering CES, and this year is no different. While 3D will be an important part of our coverage, we want to try something different this year, and expand into other immersive technology areas. Of course, all our coverage will be done in true stereoscopic 3D form (because there really is no other way to do it!). If you’re interested in getting your products in front of tens of thousands of passionate gamers, send an email to press@mtbs3D.com. Our schedule is filling up fast, so please don’t delay.
