Two important stories today. First, everyone knows by now that MTBS practices what it preaches, and almost everything is rendered in stereoscopic 3D whenever possible. While our sView 3D plugin has limited support with Internet Explorer, it works best with Mozilla Firefox and others.
With Firefox’s version 17 release, they made some changes in how the browser interacts with plugins, and this interfered with some of the important features of our 3D support. This has the most dramatic effect on shutter glasses solutions like Nvidia 3D Vision and AMD HD3D partners.
The good news is that Mozilla is aware of the situation, they have committed resources to solving it, and we are hopeful that Firefox 19 will have the situation fixed so we can restore complete 3D functionality to the site. In the meantime, all pictures can still be downloaded for 3D viewing outside the website. Please continue to share your 3D images in our gallery and forums the way you have until now, as the functionality will be restored as it once was.

To help boost everyone’s mood, DDD has released version 3.6.13 Beta 1 of their TriDef Ignition drivers. The big highlights for this release include 3D profiles for Hitman: Absolution, Far Cry 3, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, and more. For AMD 7000 GPU owners plagued with problems, this driver is supposed to solve some known issues. Check the drivers out, and please share your results in GameGrade3D!
