Some good news from the DDD camp. TriDef Ignition 3.6.9 has been released (as part of their TriDef 3D 5.5 package), and features 49 new profiles including Dishonored, Medal of Honor Warfighter, FIFA 13, Starcraft II: Heart of the Swarm, and XCOM: Enemy Unknown. DDD also claims to have improved support for Max Payne 3, Data 2, and Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Future Soldier.
DDD hasn’t stated if these are actual 3D profiles or Power 3D profiles (2D+Depth), so we are going to leave it to our members to share their results in our forums and in GameGrade3D.
The biggest innovation to watch out for with DDD is that more and more games are supporting dynamic shadows, something that has been regularly stripped from their game profiles until now. Please point out any improvements in this area because it really makes a positive difference for fellow 3D gamers.
