Happy Halloween, Crysis 2 Update


Happy Halloween everyone!

While this is really old news, DDD released 3.6.8 Beta 1 drivers last week. This in itself isn't THAT big a deal, but one of the added profiles is Crysis 2 DX11 with dynamic shadow support. We haven't tried this yet, but if it works well, it's a major accomplishment because Crysis 2 was released as a 2D+Depth game, and you know how we feel about 2D+Depth (not good!).

This profile means it's the first time the game can be played in true stereoscopic 3D form with working shadows to boot!  Whereas before, Crysis 2 did not qualify as a GameGrade3D submission because of its 2D+Depth limitation, DDD users are encouraged to make a fresh submission based on these drivers (in true 3D mode). We want to know how it turned out!
