Future Soldier Getting DDD Support!

Ghost Recon Future Soldier
Some really cool news today from Ubisoft.  Normally, when a game gets announced with stereoscopic 3D support on PC, it’s usually an exclusive marketing message tied to Nvidia’s 3D Vision.  This isn’t to say that the game is any more or less compatible with the other options in the market, it’s just that it is branded as being Nvidia compatible.

Ubisoft has announced that Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Future Soldier PC (June, 2012 release) will have stereoscopic 3D compatibility with DDD’s TriDef Ignition drivers.  To our knowledge, this is the first time a leading game developer has gone on record that their title is compatible with DDD’s TriDef Ignition software BEFORE the game has been released to the public.

What this means, we don’t know yet.  We know that DDD has been publicly supportive of GameGrade3D as a QA tool, and it’s clear that Ubisoft is pretesting the game on TriDef before it’s released.  Our hopes are high that this game will turn out really well and further demonstrate the diversity of the market.
