A few days ago, we reported that GameGrade3D was down because of our server transfer and upgrade. There was a bug that prevented new submissions from being added to the database. It’s up and running again, and we’d be appreciative if members could share any bugs or problems they have in the GG3D forums. We don’t anticipate any issues based on the testing we have done so far – but just in case!
For those unfamiliar, GameGrade3D is a community driven database of stereoscopic 3D video games, and their compatibility with the different 3D solutions on the market for PC. This includes DDD, iZ3D, Nvidia GeForce 3D Vision, and AMD HD3D drivers. It has no vested interests in specific technologies, and is reputable because it takes a very objective approach to testing and classifying 3D games. More importantly, it’s a great tool for 3D gamers to learn which games will work well with their 3D solutions, and what special settings are needed if any.
With each driver release, members are encouraged to make new submisisions so driver developers can easily track bugs that need to be fixed, and gamers can know which drivers work well with each game.
Credit to Andres Hernandez and Vadim Krivosheev for getting GG3D working again!
