It's MTBS' Birthday Today!

MTBS' 3D Birthday Cake!Does everyone know what today is?  Today is Meant to be Seen's FIFTH birthday!  What started as a grassroots idea in an Nvidia 3D discussion forum in 2006 has since blossomed into the home of stereoscopic 3D gaming.

However, it's as much your birthday as it is ours.  We wouldn't be here if it wasn't for our members who have made this their 3D meeting place.  In fact, it's largely the contributions of our members and fellow gamers who really put stereoscopic 3D gaming on the map, and demonstrated just how much fun this technology is.

We also have to acknowledge the industry who have kept this place alive through the years: iZ3D, Dynamic Digital Depth, The S-3D Gaming Alliance and it's members, our friends in the press...MTBS exists because of you, and we are grateful.  We'd also like to thank the game developers who have sent us products to review, as well as the hardware makers like AMD, Nvidia, Panasonic, and Sony who have helped outfit our test labs for stereoscopic 3D game reviews.

A Google search of "stereoscopic 3D gaming" ranks MTBS in the top three sites, second only to Wikipedia and Nvidia.  Now that we are five years old...if you can forgive the pun...it's time we acted our age!

While we continually develop MTBS' new look, we have a month full of birthday celebrations to get through, and the kick-off will happen next week.  Yes, it will be epic.

By the way...special thanks to Cris Villalobos (Sir C) for baking MTBS' 3D cake.  Happy Birthday everyone!
