We got a tap on our shoulder today that Ubisoft released the CGI trailer for Far Cry 3!
Since its first installment, Far Cry has been a reliable staple in stereoscopic 3D gaming awesomeness (yes, “awesomeness” IS a recognized word…somewhere) because of its lush environments, ease of out of screen effects, and fast gameplay. Will Far Cry 3 continue the tradition? According to Ubisoft, it doesn’t have a 3D mode (yet). However, MTBS has high hopes that the PC driver developers will tirelessly work to maintain Far Cry’s stature in 3D gaming!

While the above trailer doesn’t show actual game play, it’s still impressive. The only thing is it features plenty of foul language crammed into a tight spot. Why developers think there is an “F-Word to Unit Sales” relationship, we have no idea. No matter, let’s hope the game itself is excellent. FC3 has a release date of September 4th, 2012.
