Looks like the Grinch tried to ruin Christmas this season, but fear not!
Microsoft has announced a security advisory for a vulnerability discovered with the Nvidia GeForce 3D Vision drivers. According to Microsoft:
“An attacker who successfully exploited this vulnerability could take complete control of an affected system in the security context of the Local System. An attacker could then install programs; view, change, or delete data; or create new accounts with full adminstrative rights.”
What is the solution? Just update your drivers to the latest version.
On the plus side, we think that 3D product sales are doing well this year. First, the 3D Vision 2 glasses were sold out in NCIX’s online Boxing Day sale, and even that nasty FedEx video we showed earlier this week appears to feature a Samsung 3D monitor (which is based on AMD tech). NCIX replenished their supplies and got sold out again! I think this is a good sign that we will have more 3D gamers in our midst very soon!

Last but not least, YuriyTheBest has gotten into the spirit with a new 3D video.
