Good news, everyone! DDD has released TriDef 5.0 today! For those unfamiliar, TriDef Ignition is the stereoscopic 3D driver of choice for all AMD and Intel GPU platforms, though it works with Nvidia graphics cards as well (except with Nvidia GeForce 3D Vision glasses).
There are two major changes. First, separate from game drivers, DDD has a side business of renting out 3D content on the web, and now has a new TriDef 3D Portal for this purpose (in place of “The TriDef 3D Experience” menu).
The big titles added this time around in their TriDef Ignition pack include Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, FIFA12, Pro Evolution Soccer 2012, and more. Battlefield 3 is supposed to get officially patched for native GeForce 3D VIsion and AMD HD3D support, but until that time, DDD has included preliminary driver profile as well. Of course, there are several bug fixes too!
Check the new drivers out, and please share your results in our forums and through GameGrade3D. Remember that when making 3D game submissions to GG3D, you need to turn auto-convergence off which is often a default feature in the DDD drivers.
