Sorry for the slow updates on MTBS. We have a few announcements which will be ready before the end of the week.
In the meantime, LG has revealed their upcoming LG A530 notebook computer. With variable specs, the unit’s CPU can range as high as an Intel Core i7 processor, an Nvidia GT 55M Processor (2GB), and 750GB HD. It’s backed with a polarized (interlaced) 15.6 inch 3D display which is supported by DDD’s TriDef Ignition 3D drivers.
However, setting video games aside for a moment (just a moment!), this notebook includes an embedded stereoscopic 3D webcam! Now THAT is cool because as people use it, it will help foster more gamer to gamer content and demonstrations. We’ll have to see how this turns out.
By the way, LG sent us another mobile 3D product for review, and we’ll get cracking on that shortly.
We’d also like to give readers a heads-up on an interview Sony gave to Gamespot at Gamescom. Mick Hocking is SCEE’s Group Studio Director. Check the interview out because we think it was well done. Share your thoughts!
