According to Electronista, Toshiba is ready to launch its glasses-free stereoscopic 3D notebook computer on August 16th. Priced at just under $1,700 US, the F755 features a quadcore 2Ghz I7, 6GB of RAM, 750GB hard drive, and an Nvidia GT540M GPU.
It’s based on parallax barrier technology, but has the added benefit of eye tracking so it is easier to move around and still maintain the stereoscopic 3D image. In other words, the viewing sweetspot is far wider and more dynamic.
