It’s a big day at MTBS today. As everyone knows, Meant to be Seen has purposely avoided doing stereoscopic 3D hardware reviews since the very beginning. The reason for this is the 3D display industry was so small, one good or bad word one way or the other could cause more harm than good. We were also sensitive about being put into a conflict of interest.
Times have changed! Nearly every manufacturer has a 3D display of one kind or another, and we are clearly at a point where our hardware reviews can help shape future 3D products to come. Today, we reveal the first part of MTBS’ review of the Acer HN274H 27″ monitor. Featuring 1080P resolution, dual-link DVI, and HDMI 1.4A compatibility, we find out if this doozy has what it takes to be the 3D monitor of your dreams!
For hardware vendors reading this, MTBS is blessed by a team of experienced stereoscopic 3D gamers that have a strong sense of what will make or break a 3D product. If you are interested in having your displays or 3D devices reviewed by a member of our team, please contact us via press@mtbs3D.com to make arrangements.
