While CES 2011 is well behind us, and we have exhausted just about every interview we did on camera…there is still more to share!
From each 3D exhibit, we took the liberty of taking pictures of all kinds of displays on the show floor…through the glasses themselves! It’s far from perfect, but this should give a pretty good indicator of crosstalk from one lens to the other. Where possible, we even got some snapshots of auto-stereoscopic 3D displays.
First on the list is LG Electronics. As shown above, they are now focused on selling polarized stereoscopic 3D HDTV displays based on interlaced (half vertical resolution) technology. What do you think?
More and more information is gradually being revealed about LG’s impending 3D smartphone, but it’s time to see some meat with those 3D potatoes! While this is just a prototype movie player (mobile) shown at CES 2011, the core auto-stereoscopic 3D technology is likely the same. Do you think it will deliver?
Keep coming back, because we have lots of “3D of 3D” pictures to share!
