Hot on the heels of DDD’s latest round of TriDef Ignition drivers, iZ3D has released version 1.12 of their driver solution.
In addition to AMD HD3D compatibility, the most notable updates include:
- Image scaling to native resolution. The idea is that if the resolution is less than the screen’s native output, it will scale and still allow proper 3D use at lower resolutions. This is most applicable to interlaced solutions.
- Stereo mirror support
- Improved 120Hz display support
- Series of bug fixes
iZ3D has been beta testing DX10 and DX11 support for some time in earlier revisions, and a follow-up release is expected with more updated profiles and bug fixes. Work is also being done on a brand new interface. Share your results!
