MTBS is at the 2010 3D Entertainment Summit, and it promises to be one of the most exciting 3D conferences to date! Just some of the headliners include Jeffrey Katzenberg (CEO of Dreamworks Animation), Chris Cookson (President of Sony Pictures Technologies), and writer/director M. Night Shyamalan.
On the gaming side, top speakers include Patrick Naud (Ubisoft Executive Producer, Avatar: The Game), Cevat Yerli (CEO, Crytek), Chris Subagio, Senior Technology Programmer for Double Helix Games, and more.
An individual we are very excited about is David Cook, Chief 3D Vision Software Architect. Most don’t realize that it’s David’s work that set the foundation for modern stereoscopic 3D gaming as we know it – long before Nvidia took a direct interest. The S-3D Gaming Alliance will be represented on the panel as well.
While not open to the public, The S-3D Gaming Alliance is holding its next meeting on the evening of September 16th after the conference is over. Why are we bringing this up? This marks S3DGA’s one year anniversary since its first introductory meeting in 2009!
