HP has announced plans to release the HP Envy 17 3D, Hewlett Packard’s first foray into 3D notebook computers.
Scheduled for release this Christmas, this HP unit features a 17.3″ screen, full 1080P resolution, and LCD shutter glasses support. What makes this product a tad more interesting is that it is based on an AMD 5850 GPU – which conceivably opens the door for gamers to use both DDD and iZ3D stereoscopic 3D drivers. It’s interesting that the choice of licensed driver has not been revealed…yet.Share your thoughts!
