Silent Hunter 5: Battle For the Atlantic

Do you think you have the stomach to be a submarine captain in 3D?  Today we review Ubisoft’s Silent Hunter 5: Battle For the Atlantic using DDD, iZ3D, and Nvidia GeForce 3D Vision solutions.  Let’s see who sinks and swims!

“For us to spend the most amount of time giving consumers the most bang for their buck, it is better if we have standards that we can concentrate on and deliver toward.” – Alan Price, CTO for Electronic Arts Canada

The S-3D Gaming Alliance and Electronic Arts are both featured in the Business Section of the Vancouver Sun.  We can only get our hands on the online edition, but we think it’s pretty cool!  They got Alan’s name wrong somehow (his name isn’t Colin!).

Last but not least, some minor updates were done to MTBS’ 3D Game Analyzer.  The certifcation grades are now hotlinked so you can see what they mean.  We also clarified some of the anomalies a bit more and adjusted the data entry screen a bit to make it a little easier to follow.
