E3 Preview? Possibly!

Ok!  Looks like we have our work cut out for us.  E3 is next week, and while there is excitement around Project Natal and PlayStation Move, there is equal if not more anticipation for announcements around stereoscopic 3D gaming!

MTBS' 3D Gaming Summit Panel

While I'm sure there will be a few surprises at E3, a great preview of game developer attitudes towards 3D gaming can be found at Gamerlive.TV from their videos of The 3D Gaming Summit.  While we wanted to link to these videos sooner, we wanted to wait until most of them were up.

"The First Step" was MTBS' panel, and featured Electronic Arts, Naked Sky, Darkworks, Rockstar Games, and Polar Productions.  "Creating State of the Art 3D Gaming Panel" featured Epic Games, Capcom Entertainment, THQ, Sony Online Entertainment, and more.  In both cases, make a point to watch the Q&A at the end.  This should help predict the attitudes at E3 towards S-3D gaming on PC and console.  Do you think some of the attitudes will shift?

We are hard at work on our next episode of MTBS-TV and our continued history of stereoscopic 3D gaming.  Who knows, maybe to celebrate E3 we will get a bonus episode put together?  We shall see!
