We received an anonymous tip from a member named “Phil” (not the same Phil in the forums), that DDD’s Tridef Media Player works with Nvidia’s GeForce 3D Vision glasses. We thought it was a prank because of how the news made its appearance, but sure enough, it really works!
We tried to see if we could get the same results from DDD’s Tridef Ignition game drivers, but they turn the Pageflip Output option off while gaming. We don’t know why yet, but we will find out.
To get it working, just install the latest Nvidia drivers, download the current Tridef 3-D package, choose the “Pageflipped” output option, and run the player! The Tridef Media Experience includes a 14 day free trial, so give it a go and see what you think. DDD’s player features 2D/3D conversion too, so share your findings on this as well.
For those exciting about all the news streaming through from Computex, looks like this is another feather in the cap for Nvidia GeForce 3D Vision users!
