Some great updates to share with you today!

MTBS’ 3D Game Analyzer (M3GA) has had another upgrade:

  1. The QA numeric scoring is no longer weighted according to section.  Instead, all the points are added uniformly across the board.
  2. The QA penalties are much more aggressive.  In the event that total scores fall below the zero mark, the game gets graded as a “zero”.
  3. Individual anomaly QA score reductions are shown on the results page so users can see how the results came to be.
  4. The comments section on the front submission page works and is displayed on the results page!  It will get moved to the last entry section shortly.

Just a reminder that the MTBS certification and the QA numeric score are completely different scales.  It is possible to have a seemingly high certification level, and a much lower QA score.  For those unfamiliar, M3GA is a consumer driven database of PC video games which are and are not deemed compatible with DDD, iZ3D, and NVIDIA GeForce 3D Vision stereoscopic 3D driver solutions.  It isn’t 3D Ready until gamers say it’s 3D ready! Cool

Finally, while this isn’t official MTBS material, YuriyTheBest did a great 3D YouTube review of  S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat on the iZ3D monitor.  His high-jinx alone makes the video worth watching.  He actually goes there!
