NVIDIA GeForce 3D Vision Alternative Appears on eBay!

You never know what you can find on eBay these days.

3D Adventure: Alternative to NVIDIA's GeForce 3D Vision?

It turns out that there is a low-cost LCD shutter glasses package called “3D Adventure” being sold on eBay that claims to work with NVIDIA’s GeForce 3D Vision drivers.  Credit goes to MTBS member Ardov for finding this.  As with NVIDIA’s GeForce 3D Vision, the product is expected to work with high refresh rate displays like 120Hz monitors and HDTVs.

The listing is brand new, and we have no confirmed accounts as to whether or not it works.  If it was a product of reverse engineering, can NVIDIA put the breaks on it without warning?  There are also ethical concerns too.  Is it right to buy a product like this?  If the NVIDIA software was intended and financially backed for one purpose, is it a form of theft to use it for anything else?

For these reasons, we are very hestitant to recommend purchasing this just yet.  Share your thoughts below!
