We don’t know whether to laugh or cry, but it turns out that Clash of the Titans has released the Kraken (or the smack’n) at the box office. 64.1 million dollars later, it’s at this juncture that we announce our next guest writer on MTBS!
Abe Perlstein, a respected S-3D photographer and advocate, took his lumps for the rest of us, and went to see Clash of the Titans this weekend. This movie touched him so deeply, he felt compelled to share his thoughts on it. We got his permission to have his…succinct opinions…shared on Meant to be Seen.
Did Abe love Clash of the Titans? Or, would he have preferred to see Hot Tub Time Machine (like WE did!)? Is Abe soaking in the hot tub time machine as we speak? Find out!
Speaking of Hot Tub Time Machine, if you have hours to kill, portions of The Masters golf tournament will be broadcast in 3D this week. It will be made available via Shaw in Canada and Comcast in the USA. OR, you can view it online with the Stereoscopic Player and NVIDIA’s branded stereo player equivalent. The 3D coverage will be available during these periods:
Wednesday, April 7: 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Thursday, April 8: 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Friday, April 9: 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Saturday, April 10: 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Sunday, April 11: 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
In all cases, the broadcast will be handled in a side by side format, so nearly all 3D Ready televisions should be able to handle this.
