While stereoscopic 3D gaming has only now been hitting the headlines, it has been around for well over ten years (twenty in some cases)!  S-3D gaming is a very exciting industry filled with innovation, politics, and controversy!  Through a series of ten minute videos, Neil Schneider, President of Meant to be Seen and Executive Director of the non-profit S-3D Gaming Alliance, gives an up close and personal tour of how our industry came to be, its remaining challenges, and the ramifications moving forward.

One of our more controversial guides, this focuses on recognizing S-3D hardware reviews that are written well, and those that aren't.  Stereoscopic 3D gaming is a long term investment, and it's important that our industry's most influential journalists have your interests at heart.  While the media has grown a lot sharper and more informed since this guide was written, it's always important to keep a watchful eye!

It's great to see companies like DDD, iZ3D, and NVIDIA promoting compatibility with hundreds of games.  Unfortunately, there is little consistency between driver developers on what is considered 3D compatible.  This is a consumer driven database of stereoscopic 3D compatible PC video games.  Is your favourite S-3D game not listed here?  Feel free to make submissions!  It's isn't 3D Ready untils gamers say it is.
