Meant to be Seen Launches GameGrade3D and Celebrates 5th Birthday

Toronto, Ontario (March 7th, 2012) – Founded in March, 2007, Meant to be Seen (mtbs3D.com), the world's first and only stereoscopic 3D Certification and Advocacy group is celebrating its fifth year in operation this month. The S-3D Gaming Alliance Welcomes New President, Annual Meeting Announced

Former EA Canada CTO Leads Alliance, Meeting at Upcoming 3D Entertainment Summit

Toronto, Ontario, Canada – August 29, 2011 – The S-3D Gaming Alliance (S3DGA) is the first and only non-profit and non-proprietary organization focused on making the 3D gaming market successful for both game developers and the end consumer. S3DGA is pleased to announce Alan Price as the association’s new president. As an event sponsor for the upcoming 3D Gaming Summit and 3D Entertainment Summit taking place on September 20th through 22nd in Hollywood, California. Government-Funded 3D Gaming Initiative Enters New Dimension

Ontario Universities, Game Developers and Associations to Bolster S-3D Game Development

Toronto, ON – The building blocks for the next generation of stereoscopic three-dimensional (S-3D) gaming are being put in place thanks to a major funding announcement by the Ministry of Tourism and Culture through the Ontario Media Development Corporation’s (OMDC) Entertainment and Creative Cluster Partnerships Fund along with support from Ontario Centres of Excellence (OCE).

Together, OMDC, OCE, industry and academic partners will provide more than $635,000 in funding to Interactive Gaming Ontario 3D (iGO3D), a new collaborative effort that brings together the expertise of five universities, one college and a wide range of gaming industry partners whose mission is to drive the growth of the province’s digital media content industry. iGO3D’s primary partner is the University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT), where Dr. Andrew Hogue, assistant professor, Faculty of Business and Information Technology will serve as iGO3D project leader.

3D Expectations Differ For Games Versus Film Says U-Decide 2011

According to Stereoscopic 3D Consumers, the Modest Depth-only 3D Experience in Movies has no Place in Most 3D Video Games.

Toronto, Ontario (February 7, 2010) – The S-3D Gaming Alliance has just released the 2011 edition of The U-Decide Initiative.  U-Decide is credited as the only S-3D gaming report shaped by consumer opinion, industry analysis, and hands-on experience.  U-Decide gives readers a candid outlook of what needs to happen to make stereoscopic 3D gaming successful in the long term.
