Toronto, Ontario (April 10th, 2012) – Meant to be Seen (mtbs3D.com), the world’s first and only stereoscopic 3D Certification and Advocacy group is celebrating its fifth year in operation.
Continuing its website re-launch, Meant to be Seen has enhanced its picture gallery and community forums with full stereoscopic 3D support. Compatible 3D options include AMD HD3D, Nvidia 3D Vision, Interlaced, 3D DLP, anaglyph, and more.
“It used to be that viewing images in a gallery or forum required that you download the picture first, and then view it in a separate player. MTBS’ forums and gallery let you view 3D images right away no matter what type of glasses or graphics card you are using on PC. It’s a great community tool for sharing 3D screenshots of games, personal 3D photos, and more. This will make 3D fun for everyone,” said Neil Schneider, CEO of Meant to be Seen.
Compatible with HTML5 supported browsers including Firefox, Opera, and Google Chrome, this 3D compatibility is made possible by special software plug-ins written by Kirill Gavrilov, also the author of sView – one of the most well respected 3D image and video players in the market.
” DDD’s TriDef 3D supports 3D gaming on consumer electronic devices from the world’s leading brands like LG, Samsung, Sony, Intel, AMD and more. We know gamers rate GG3D highly, and journalists can easily follow the results. It’s a real benefit to the 3D gaming marketplace, and demonstrates MTBS’ ongoing commitment to advocating good 3D in video games.” – Chris Yewdall, CEO of Dynamic Digital Depth.
Another innovation to mark MTBS’ fifth birthday is GameGrade3D (GG3D), a community driven database of PC video games and their compatibility with the leading stereoscopic 3D technologies like AMD HD3D, Dynamic Digital Depth’s TriDef Ignition, and Nvidia’s 3D Vision drivers. It’s only 3D ready when gamers say it is!
