IZ3D and Vista 64Bit

Post by cirk2 »

Hello,
I'm currently using a VR920, but my normal tft is getting someway old.
So I'm searching for a follow-up Monitor.

So thru this forum I heard about the IZ3D. But I'm currently running Vista 64bit, and there is only an 32bit driver.

Somewhere here is a workaround for XP64bit but does ist also work for Vista? And is 64bit Driver planned?

Definitely no 64-bit support at this time (as per the web site). As for Vista, well, except for Microsoft, few game companies are pushing Vista. I don't think IZ3D are in a rush for Vista drivers. I'm sure they will at one point, but as Windows XP still controls the market, I suspect they are concentrating on Windows XP first.

Of course, most of this is obvious anyways.

Hi Guys,

I have to disagree on iZ3D's Vista goals. Their drivers currently support 32 bit Vista, and 64 bit Vista drivers are in the works. See this thread:

Thank you Neil,

I hope nvidia's new drivers can work with my hmd or my shutter glasses. If not, I'll think of an IZ3D, when the 64bit drivers are out...
