New gallery submissions

Post by sharky »

hi guys!

last days there have been many uploads and submissions to the gallery. what i noticed is that the "last uploads" button shows only the last few and it is sometimes difficult to find the uploaded files.

my idea was to use this thread to tell others where and what you have uploaded to make it for others to find your uploads and maybe comment/rate them. :) please use this thread only for this purpose.

thank you

Question:

I've uploaded 2 more screenshots of flight simulator 2004 and a little serie of shots from il2: 1946 that need to be put at their corresponding categories.

In the il2: 1946 screenshots can be seen how close is the cockpit due to bullet holes at the glass that make a big contrast with the great distances to the floor and surroundings.

Hi Crim3!

I moved the files around a bit. You should also have a single shot with all the fields filled in and submit it to the unofficial compatibility database in the gallery.

Thanks for the addition!

hi crim!

cool pics! im adding some votes and comments... please remember to put the name right. the name should be "gamename - drivers" (ex. oblivion - Nvidia"
the flight simulator pics can be uploaded in the still existing flight simulator album.. it doesnt mind if there are already some inthere from other users.. :)

its just to keep things a bit clear.

anyway, very coool pics.. :D

Ok, I was unsure on what to put at the name field.
I will also add a picture for fs2004 and one for il2:1946 to the unofficial compatibility database.

Just one thing, two of this pictures should go to the "Flight Simulator 2004" category. I uploaded them together with the rest, what is a bit confusing. I didn't think about that.

EDIT: I have just seen that is has been already done, thx!

They are viewable in crosseye, but sometimes they lack a little convergence. That maye be due to the games and the behavior of their menue (it would disappear, if set to high....) I personally hit strg+F6 a bit longer ;-)

which ones are you talking about? I maxed out the conv any more and the gun would look funny.
The vampire mas screeny I know is low because of the menu but the screen of the chic at the bar was almost maxd out

Jeah that was exactly my Impression.
The quake shots are nice, but the other games seem to have problems with HUD, if using too high convergence...
In the first 2 Vampire shots its beginning to disappear, although the convergence is quite low.

The WC3 shots might have a little too much depth and to low convergence. The game can get amazing popout, without the Hud disappearing (only the 3D animation of the Figure disappears...

I have posted some screenshots of Mount&Blade on the 3rd person/adventure category. I was not very sure where to put them, because it can be played both in third or in first person depending on you preferences, and also, you play it as a FPS when in combat but as a RPG when in travel from town to town.

It's a very original game (at least for me, I don't know of any like this). You have to get a life in a medieval world fighting against bandits, helping people, being a bandit, or joining one of the factions in war and lot more. All combats are done with medieval weapons. What people use to like the most is that you can combat rinding a horse. There is nothing like swinging your sword over your poor enemy as you pass by at full speed with you war horse

It's done by an independent team of developers. They are in contact with the people through their forum, making the game bigger and bigger with each version release. Some of the forum members use to play in stereoscopic, so it looks like the developers take care of making it stereo compatible.

There is a free demo. It's quiet long. You can play till your character reach a certain level. Then you can create a new game or pay for a serial number to go on the same game. It's quiet inexpensive anyway ( I think it was below 20 euros when I bought a serial number from them), and it's very addictive at the beginning.

You can find it here http://www.taleworlds.net

(I'm not related to them, I just like the game and how it's being developed)

I noticed you submitted them in the compatibility database. Can you make sure all the fields are filled? Even if they are "no" or "NA" answers, it's important.

Include your computer specs too - everything has to be filled.

Thanks for the submission, keep it up!

I submitted one of them at the compatibility database. I think I filled all fields, with my computer specs, etc, but I noticed that there are a lot less fields than before when I posted screenshots from Flight Simulator and IL2.
