Game & Ventrilo Servers!

Hello everyone!

Thank you again for joining mtbs3D.com.

One of the big benefits behind this service is the opportunity for S-3D users to chat and play together online.

I think the biggest challenge we have is we are all in different timezones. I'm in Eastern Standard Time, for example.

We started a RANKED Battlefield 2 server, and we plan on adding more games as things grow popular.

We also have a password protected Ventrilo server JUST for MTBS members. For those of you unfamiliar, Ventrilo lets you voice chat through a headset or webcam (without the picture!).

You can get all the required information in the "Member Benefits" section of the website.

Please use this forum to post times that you will be online so you can organize games and online chats. I'm going to be on Ventrilo as much as I can, and I look forward to chatting with all of you!

I'm usually online in the morning EST.

Regards,
Neil

Hi Scarab,

Ventrilo is independent of the game. You don't need Battlefield 2 to use Ventrilo.

Neil

Yes! That's not an excuse!

Please avoid using the word "never" - I think "always" was the word you were looking for.

scarab I've added You in XFire. I mostly play Battlefield 2.
I log on the Battlefield server but it's allways tuff to get any server started.
I know that from my clan server.
It would be easier if there were more S-3D battlefield 2 players. Then we could arrange a meetingtime.
Timezones:
1000PST = 1300EST = 1800GMT = 1900CET
PST: US westcoast time
EST: US eastcoast time
GMT: England time
CET: Central European Time
My XFire name: freke1
get Xfire at: (http://www.xfire.com) (who's online/server they play/chat)

I think games need to be scheduled.

Would everyone be interested in setting up a weekly game?

I could email the membership to let them know of the time.

Remember, you don't have to be an S-3D player to use the server. If we could get more members through the friend to friend referral network (in the Member Benefits Section), we will have more players too.

Neil

My best days are Sundays and Mondays. If my wife gives me permission, I could probably do something on a Saturday night too.

I'm sure Xfire is a great program. Would you be open to using Ventrilo as
well?

It's good to have consistency, and it's nice to know MTBS members are online waiting to chat in their exclusive chat room!

Regards,
Neil :P

I guess you lumped Canada with the US like others.

After all it is the 51st state. We share TV shows [although Canada gets a lot of US stuff], area code structure, weather, and in some cases politics. 8)
