Stereo rendering control to application

Post by Tath »

Hello,

I'm trying to build an OpenGL application that would be able to control stereo rendering by itself instead of the graphics driver.

I have been briefly testing with OpenGL quad buffering, but it seems that nvidia stereo driver overrides (or ignores) the quad buffering done by the application code. I can control for example the stereo convergence with the system registry keys I created for my application, but I really need to be able to view stereo as it is done by the application code and quad buffering.

Any help in solving this would be much appreciated! Thanks!

I just want to make sure I understand.

Are you trying to develop native stereo support without the need of external drivers like NVIDIA and iZ3D?

I'm interested in native stereo support without external driver.
and also
how to change stereo driver settings (disparity, etc) direct from my own software?
