Hi Guys,

Bioshock demo...so far...works perfect with the iZ3D drivers with all eye candy turned to max.

I'll post screen shots later.

here are my screenshot.. all settings at max with my baby 8800. i love teh 19th. :D (Bioshock0019.jps) its amazing. those are all made with iz3D drivers. the problem with the hud is that for a strange reasong in stereo images taken during the gameplay the hud separates, but ingame it is perfect.. in the correct position and without separation. maybe i can take a picture of the screen in 3dmode on. you will se that the hud is correct and the other things are doubled.

let me know what you think!
bye

ps: this game is crazy! i love it.. it reminds me a lot of psyops. another crazy game... :D

Those shots look cool, thanks for posting them.
I've been trying for the last couple days to download
the demo, looks like it's finally working for me now
off of game Spot using the download manager.

It worked in about 2 hours off of Gamespot using the download manager.
I made it to the entry of rapture, but at that second load screen
it keeps on crashing on me. Bummer! the stereo 3-D did looked really nice
for the time I did get to play.

Let me guess: You used the newest drivers ( 16x.xx) as the others who got it to work with Nvidia?
Did anyone get it with a 9x.xx driver??? - still don't want to upgrade

Nathan,

please don't be so short about it... can you post in the Nvidia version of this thread what you exactly did??

I never got it to work well... Either I get wack eye switching (not shutter related) or I get a ghosting glow postprocessing effect.

Did you see either of those?
(please move this on into the other thread)

Ok, I posted under 93.71 nvidia driver thread.

I tried Bioshock with this driver 93.71 and it CTD at the second loading screen.
7900GS
Core2Duo E6400
1 Gig RAM

I'll let discussions continue over there...
-Nate

p.s. EDITING, because I got it to work!

under the shortcut, right click on the icon, add -dx9
to the target line.

.exe" -dx9

At least that works for me with my 7900GS!

I tried it with the 91.31 combo. Separation ok but no convergence. So no real 3D.

FW 169.21 + Stereo from guru3d.com 162.50. Normally it makes you just plain texture before eyes with no 3d. You can override this adding "StereoTextureEnable=1" with regedit in game options.

This way it works, except you need turn off postprocessing or you'll expirience ghosting. Still there is some problem in lighted areas, they are blinking... I'm going to try FW 162.50
