NFS Most Wanted

Post by Neil »

Hi Guys!

I'm testing NFS Most Wanted, and while I can get decent visual settings, I'm getting a bad FPS problem. I think it's the NVIDIA drivers. Anyone have success with this game?

Most wanted worked realy nice for me with Nvidia-Driver.
Disadvantage was something like pretty big ghosting in FAST scenes. The marking lines on the road were 4 times on the screen.

And if I enabled s-3D in movies by hotkey, the game crashed. Once enabled all menues and movies had nice deepness AND popout :)

It's great that the dragon util. enables us to use visual effects in the game with s-3d, but it totally screws up car reflection shaders.
The same happens to the water shaders in Dark Messiah.
Can anyone confirm that the water shaders in hl2 and far cry when using dragon util. are ok?

as far as I remember, I had to turn all water effects completely down in Far Cry, they made no sense. In Hl2 there is alot less water, and I think the water was rendered wrong.. but I left it that way, even wrong the shader looked nice.

Never tested if it was due to the Dragon tool

Dragon tool does not work with the 163.71 anad 162.50 stereo drivers.
The game strats in stereo with post-processing effects, with the dragon tool of course, however there is no matchpoint between the split 3d image that is rendered and the post-processing effects.
