Just wanted to drop a note to the 3d mtbs community. I finally got the Nvidia 3d vision package and viewsonic 22' monitor. I can't open it before christmas but still, I still have much to learn about 3d... I am an avid gamer so I can't wait for this new experience.
Thanks for making this site, it really helped me make my choice !!

Re: Hello !
Well... thanks for the welcome guys.
I have been an avid reader of this site... It is amazing what information is available here so two thumbs up for the mtbs3d staff for making this possible.
After installing win7, which to my surprise seems to work like a charm (a first!), I started reinstalling all the games that should be making it through my new 3d shutter glasses pretty soon. I will definitively post my own reviews of these.
So far: Hawx, Assassin Creed, Call of Duty World at War, Dirt, Dragon Age, NFS Underground (yeah I know it's older but these cops chases are really the only fun I have with the nfs series...),...
After reading its review this morning, I have picked up the Avatar game and after the awesome IMAX3d experience I had last sunday, it will likely be the first one I'll try.
The only things is I only have the GeForce 8800 GTS 512 board. It looked great until I realized my fps would be cut in half.
Anyway, I am happy to be part of the 3d Gaming crowd now, even if I feel it is going to cost me more money soon (maybe for a GTX 285 or 95)
Cheers and Merry Christmas to all !

Re: Hello !
Welcome.
your fps arn't nececary cuted by half, typricaly are 30% loss.
If you want to upgrade get an gtx285, the 295 is sli wich does't help much...
or you wait and take a look at the upcoming Fermi cards...

Re: Hello !
I still have an 8800 GTS 512MB and most games seem to run alright in 3D.
