Which shutter glasses?

I ordered a samsung 3d ready tv.
I'm about to order a new pc (mine is pretty old).
I initially planed to purchase the nvidia 3d vision shutter glasses but since:
- they don't support checkerboard anymore (maybe a bug, but it still out today and the risk to happen again in the future is present),
- they don't ship the vesa sync cable with their glasses in Europe and I must find it on my own,
I am considering seriously a iz3D drivers solution.

The iz3D driver with checkerboard output is not a freeware ?
Which shutterglasses are the best to use with these drivers?
Would you advice me to choose an ATI graphics card to go with the iz3D?

If it hasn't changed, the checkerboard output of the iz3d driver is free for ATI users.

I'm also interested in knowing which glasses go fine with DLP TV's and projectors, as I feel that sooner or later I'll be getting a DLP projector.

You can use any shutter glasses provided that they sync with the 3D sync cable. I think all glasses on the market come with an emitter with this plug. Just make sure you do purchase the emitter : because the IR signals between the different brands of glasses are different.

I guess that glass quality differs and I read that some glasses have more or less ghosting, more or less color accuracy, price and comfort are probably different too, etc.

So, given these characteristics, which ones to choose ?

I notice that the rise and fall times are precised sometimes.
Do you know if these delays have an impact on ghosting?

In the same way, do you know if there might be a difference in ghosting performance between wired glasses and wireless ones?

Really the only glasses you will find on the consumer market these days are either the Edimensional or the ELSA, both are fine. If you really need professional quality look at the Crystal Eyes. Those are the basic choices.

I was going to purchase some "DLP glasses" (http://www.ultimate3dheaven.com/dlphdwi3dvis.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;).
I recently found some cheap wired elsa revelator.
Have you tried them on a DLP tv or plasma tv?
Are they as good as the DLP ones ?
No issue if they are wired (vesa 3-pin)?

I bought the Extreme 3D system shutter glasses from Underground Movies for around $30 and they work superbly well with the Infocus X1 DLP projector viewed via the included VGA dongle and using Stereoscopic Player.

Here is the answer from a I-O sales manager:
"The 3D DLP glasses have a different firmware imbedded on them which allow them to work with the DLP televisions. The old "Elsa" style glasses will not work with DLP's. "

Don't know what it is about, but I guess that's why some people get severe ghosting (with old elsa, edim glasses) and why some people are more satisfied (I-O glasses).

Btw, a guy on stereo3D boards managed to suppress the ghosting with a samsung plasma tv.
I'm expecting some recommendation
