Of course the samera can be used for piracing movies. I can imagine the picturequality wouldn't be the best though.
It works though: I used the same "technique" when filmed the projectorrig at home. 8)

Anything can be pirated if you really wanted to do it. Its not like nobody ever thought of it before, its obvious really. But you have to be pretty serious to do something like that. And even if someone did do it, it would only be cam-quality, tele-sync or screeners are impossible. Plus the W1 only takes 640x480 video, I think the movie industry is safe for the time being.

No. The original post was deleted and just my reply was left. I was quoting a guy who said piracy is a crime, I don not share these views and think the MPAA and the MAFIAA are the real pirates/thieves.
