Meant to be Seen

Every time every someone brings up VRD they say that it is still in infancy and only monochrome. Well that is way off according to http://www.orichel.de/multiagent/papers ... ldisplays/ the spectrum display is full color and is on par with low end HMD devices. Plus that article was written in 2002, a lot of tech advances can happen in 5 years, does anyone know where to get current information for 2007 on vrd's?

This has little to do with VRD but I was reading about a micro display technology today which is going into mass production.

I don't know about VRD but with this technology on mass production, cheap HMDs for all seem to have taken one step closer.
