Polarized film on lcd screens

Post by StereoGaming4Me »

Question for any and all of the diy planar enthusiasts.. while I've searched around the net I haven't been able to find an answer to something specific.. what kind of polarization is already applied(adhesive sheet) to the lcd screens that work as part of the S3D experience in a planar?

One other question if anyone can help:
I notice I can use my iz3d glasses or the $3.00 pair for my diy planar to adequately see S3D, but what is the technical name for these kinds of polarized glasses?

Thank you kindly, and have a great day!!
