The First Tree - Geo-11

The 3D on this looks great only issue I'm having is that some things show up in one eye but not the other, shadows for example. Are there settings in the ini files that I can mess with to troubleshoot this? I'm using version 0.6.56 x32 of Geo-11... yeah the game is 32 bit. Thanks!

well if it is shadows they proablly need a fix as do the other items. there is a one eye effect setting in the INI file that rarely helps but you never know it might help but probally not with the shadows.. look in the "profile" section in the ini towards the bottom for this paragraph and setting:

""; This setting enables stereo compute shaders (0x00004000), which is required
; to fix a lot of "one eye" type rendering issues in many DX11 games, and
; allows stereo2mono and the side-by-side / top-and-bottom output modes to work
; in SLI (0x00000008):
;StereoFlagsDX10 = 0x00004008"

Thanks. So a "fix" is something one of the devs of Geo-11 does? It's not something users can do in the settings then? Just something we have to wait on?

Some 3D enthusiasts try tinkering with different settings to see if they can get a specific game to run decent and look good in 3D without a dedicated fix by using older stereo 3D fixes and nvidia profile inspector, while a dedicated fix is done so that the game definitely looks good in 3D and little to no tinkering is necessary by everyone else by simply downloading a fix to put into the game directory and you only have to load the game then. There's also the universal fixes for UE4 and Unity 2017/2018/2019 games and the Unity 2019 fix sometimes works for Unity 2020/2021 games where you just have to slightly edit the d3dx.ini file and/or the desktop shortcut with "-window-mode exclusive".

One of the devs (Thought there was someone else working with Bo3b) of Geo-11 has created fixes in the past, but it's also Losti, MasterOtaku, DHR and a few others. They edit shader files and games can take a long time to fix - hours and hours.

There's a small learning curve to start trying different things to get a game without a dedicated fix to run in 3D. I've been following this crowd for a few years and I've never tried changing the StereoFlags yet but I also rarely ever play pc games. Just keep reading and learning.
