Looks like nobody tested Diablo IV restricted beta last weekend?

I'll be testing the open beta tomorrow, I'm still running on a 1080Ti and 425.31 driver.

So you updated drivers, started the game correctly, then went back to the compatible 3D Vision driver, then the game worked and comes on in 3D?

No, just had to revert back to enjoy 3D again on games.

Diablo IV is DX12 and therefore, until 3D patches are made compatible with DX12, it is not going to be 3D compatible for the time being, right?

If there is a game that I really enjoyed playing in 3D was diablo 3 (also grim dawn, torchlight II) for this kind of games the 3D is amazing!
How I hate DX12!!!!
Is there a possibility for Diablo 4?...what's the status of DX12 games and 3d?...is it just a NO?

Since the question was on 3D only - there is Superdepth3D, like f.e. used by Losti in CP2077 (+3 posts below info on 3D effect) if it works with Diablo. But no 3D Vision Support, only usual ones (SBS,TAB,LineInt,Checkerboard and some special cases).

Since it runs on Win7 machines, i.e. DX11 would there be a way to force DX11 and get it to work? There is a command line parameter to bypass the driver requirement, so it did run on the 452 driver.

@greg02 Sure this is using DX11? Note that there is DX12 for Win 7. According to reports it works without any dx11 command. And there shall be an "d3d12on7.dll" file in Diablos folder. Note that the GTX 660 doesnt show dx11 support. EDIT: found old requirements posting DX11. Now the question is: did they remove dx11 support (or was it just a guess/hope?) to be able to keep launch. If so it could be added later, if it never was official you might forget it.
