Difficulties to find DLP HD TVs with 3D support

Post by snaileri »

Hello.
I'm having trouble to find online stores that sell 3D-ready DLP HDTVs and ships everywhere in europe, scandinavian region too.
Here in Finland I can't find any online store that sells DLP TVs, only DLP projectors.
Can we expect those 3D-ready TVs to globalize any time soon?
New models coming from Samsung or LG? when?

Tell me any european online store that ships stuff everywhere in europe.
I'm looking for some 40-50" 1080p DLP TV for S3D gaming, give me some advice so I can pick decent model with fair price.

Any help is appreciated!

They ship to Europe, but it's way too expensive... you are going to spend less if you order from U.S (douane and shipping included)....
There should be a Viewsonic 3D projector coming out next month... I would wait for that and see...

Hmm, that Vidimensio.eu sells Samsung HL50A650 with a price tag of 3 399 €, while
I can find stores from the web that sell the same product for low as $967 :

Something's wrong. When we european consumers will get fair prices?

Hi,

Maybe its time for you or others to fill a specialist market need.

Its times of disruptive change like these that entrepeneurs are made.

Remember when small mobile phone shops appeared.

Your average retailer and salesperson will not have much knowledge of S3D for a least another year.

Just look at how complicated it is already for knowledgeable enthusiasts to select and set up their own S3D equipment.

Surely, there are plenty of customers with money to spend in Europe who want this kind of S3D service.

Good luck.

Are there any 40" DLP HDTVs with 3D-ready support?
Could you guys name me some model which fits into my criteria, or near it?
I noticed that HL50A650 cannot be bought from Samsung's website anymore, are they abandoning the model?
