A hat in time

I just recently started playing a hat in time (steam version) and tried changing convergence (f5-f6) however it isn’t working. I saw on helix blog that someone mentioned a while back that an update might have broke it. I was playing the game and the 3D wasn’t hitting like it usually does on other games so I checked the image on the fix page and that was AWESOME….so does anyone know how or if convergence can be fixed again because that game is great and would look amazing with full 3D capabilities working on it.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
