Does anyone know why I can't use 3D in DX9 games on my new Ryzen/RTX 3050 Ti laptop?

I've been playing around with 3D on an old Samsung TV for a little while, using a desktop with a GTX 1060. I just got a laptop with a Ryzen + RTX 3050 Ti instead, which is much more convenient since the desktop lives on a different floor of my house than the 3D TV. I know that the RTX 30 series is limiting for Stereo 3D since you can't install the old driver that has 3D DX11 support, but I know that DX9 is supposed to be fine and geo-11 looks promising for DX11 games. I'm trying to play Portal 2 in 3D but 3DFM always fails to "Enable 3D" and tells me to connect my laptop to an external display, which I have done. I didn't have the issue on my old GTX 1060 desktop.

Do you know what's happening here?

Thanks for the help. In that PhysX page of the Nvidia Control Panel, I see that all the video outputs are unfortunately connected to the Radeon graphics. Am I correct to assume that means no Helix Mod games will work for 3D DX9. So I guess Geo-11 should still be an option for DX11 games, and perhaps I can use DGVoodoo2 to adapt DX9 games into that? Not totally sure but I'll look into it. Its unfortunate how 3D Fix Manager doesn't work with geo-11 at all, and you have to install all the fixes manaully. Anyways thanks for your help, I can try to figure it out now.

What Radeon GPU the CPU Built in one? if so then I think you might hqave a shot with Geo-11 and DX11 games but not DX9 games unless you use dgVooDoo2 on them and convert it and then try geo-11..

Well yes too run the game later in 3D with Geo-11 just don't start the Katanga Shortcut and just click the games regular exe shortcut and it should start the game in 2D..
