Nice find!
I wish one could download all three short movies as playable demos, especially the third one and watch them in 3D.

Great stuff, this should be a feature length movie.

The first Adam demo was not produced by Oats Studios to my knowledge. It was made by a small team within Unity. And the executable version was available at some point but I see the links are dead now. Even the Internet Archive leads to a google drive folder which is private now :(

https://blog.unity.com/games/adam-demo- ... s-released

Anyway, as a file hoarder, I still have it, among many other things. The file name is:
AdamStandalone_3994 _2016-11-01_12-05-03.61.7z

I never tried it in 3D but this could be fun.
If you guys want me to upload it for you to try as well, just let me know what free file sharing service you prefer (it's 3.08GB in size).

Too bad none of their newer demos were ever available as executable downloads. I guess the current generation of gamers are fine experiencing tech demos as crappy low bitrate 4:2:0 videos... or worse yet - don't care about them at all
But I guess if they actually released them, they would be tens of GBs in size, similar to the UE5 demos, and probably that's the main reason...

Yes, I remember reading more or less all posts about the demo (it was kind of impressive for a Unity "game" at the time) like these:

https://blog.unity.com/games/adam-produ ... short-film
https://blog.unity.com/games/adam-asset ... short-film
https://blog.unity.com/games/adam-anima ... short-film
https://blog.unity.com/games/adam-vfx-i ... short-film
https://80.lv/articles/adam-unity-production-interview/
https://store.substance3d.com/blog/text ... ce-painter

And I saw the Bulgarian names and was impressed by what my fellow Bulgarians were able to achieve. Well, it's not really that surprising considering the fact that V-Ray (an industry leading renderer) was made by the Bulgarian company Chaos Group and there are quite a lot of talented artists, tech artists and graphics programmers here in Sofia (among other IT specialists). I guess that's why it stuck in my head :)

Anyways, I uploaded the demo to several sites, as most of them have some download count limitations or data retention time limits... I hope they will last long enough for everyone interested to get it. If you're getting low DL speed, try another link to see which is the fastest for your region.

On this topic, I'm not so sure about this. As you probably know, director Neill Blomkamp is behind Oats Studios and despite District 9 being a great movie, his later projects - Elysium and Chappie were quite disappointing IMO :( I haven't watched his latest - Demonic - and probably never will.
But who knows, things may be different the next time around. I probably would watch his Alien movie if it ever gets made, which unfortunately seems doubtful after Ridley's "Covenant" :/

Sure, you're welcome ;)
If you guys try it in 3D, please share the results.

yeah well, I just did and there are unfortunately major problems with the Universal Unity 2019 fix, almost unwatchable.

Strange that the more "advanced" second demo works almost flawlessly using the universal fix but the first one is really bad. Too bad, no one is maintaining those universal unity fixes anymore...

Thank you so much, Zerofool, I searched for this demo for days!
