Tridef with RetroWave

Has anyone tried to use Tridef with Retrowave? I wouldn't have though there would be an issue.

I've tried the methods I've been using to get TriDef injected, but no luck this time. I've tried a couple different DLL injectors, and get messages saying that the DLLs have been successfully injected, but the TriDef text that usually appears in the lower left of the screen doesn't appear. I tried injecting after the startup screen, but that didn't work either.
