Best Passive 3D Monitor for Nvidia 3D Gaming?

Hi,
Just getting in to 3D gaming (yeah i know i'm 10 years late)! I tested 3DTV Play on my passive 4K LG OLED55E6V (2016) and was very impressed with the 3D. Am looking to get a 24 or 27" desk monitor that is 3D vision compatible. The best active one seems to be the ASUS PG278QR (2017), which i am considering with an Nvidia Vision Kit 2. But then i find having to recharge batteries a bit annoying and am concerned they will eventually die completely so am also considering a passive monitor.
So the question is, what is the best passive 3D monitor that will work with Nvidia's GeForce 3D setup and HelixMod, and will it work with the latest 2000 series GPUs and the old NVidia driver? I am aware of the ACER HR274H (2012) but that is old (1080 only).
Has anyone compared active vs passive on desktop monitors? Does one look better than the other? I know that questions about active vs passive has been asked many times before, but the debate usually talks about TVs. I am familiar with the technicalities of active vs passive and am mainly interested to see if anyone has any realworld experience of comparing active vs passive "monitors" with NVidia 3D solutions.
Thanks
